Ilenia Tonetti leads Relationship Management at QCAM, responsible for building and developing long-term institutional partnerships. She helps shape the firm’s relationship approach across institutional investors and works with clients and internal teams to position QCAM’s currency and fixed income strategies internationally.

She brings international experience from leading financial and academic institutions, including UBS, Berenberg Bank, and the University of Basel. Her background spans investment banking, wealth management, and research, with a focus on how complex financial decisions are formed and how institutional trust is earned over time.

Ilenia holds a Master’s degree in Linguistics from Dalarna University in Sweden. Her award-winning thesis examined how language and framing influence trust in financial decision-making, a perspective she applies directly in building and managing institutional relationships. She is fluent in German, English, Italian, and Spanish.

A dedicated endurance athlete, she brings the same discipline and long-term mindset to her professional work, building relationships through consistency, clarity, and follow-through.
